On July 2011 at Locanda’s Hall ‘M’, took place the first part of our Seminar on Paper with films on its history and applications as well as art games relating to the production of paper and to collage.
Ms. Niki Petrakis, in charge of the department of paper conservation at the University of Crete and artist/writer Ms. Yefso Papadakais, took their audience on a tour of the vicissitudes of paper.
Program
For children (9 years of age and older):
Tuesday, July 5 (afternoon): The history and making of paper. Niki Petrakis.
Wednesday, July 6 (afternoon): Collage, theory and artistic applications. Yefso Papadakis. A tour of the exhibition Pen and Ink, at the Municipal Library of Syros. (Time and date to be announced).

On Saturday morning the works of all seminar participants will be shown at Locanda’s Hall ‘M’ with the serving of refreshments.
